Mung Beans - Organic
Description
Mung beans (green gram, maash or moong) contain potassium, magnesium, folate, fiber, and vitamin B6. In Ayurveda, they are considered as tri-doshic, which means that they work well for all body types when cooked with correct spices e.g., ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric, and become even more easy to digest. They can be used in savoury and sweet cooking
How To Use: Put these mung beans in a glass jar, cover with water. Then rinse the water twice a day for 3 days (morning and night), until they begin to sprout. Then pop them in the fridge, and add to salads, healthy creations, or just munch on ‘em as they are! Use them in soups, dahls orveggie burgers ( we recommend soaking them over night). Nutritious and delicious!
Storage: Best kept airtight in a cool and dry place. Kept fresh in attractive, pantry-worthy glass jars and earth-friendly compostable bags, Mindful Foods have gone to the Nth degree to ensure the utmost quality, nutrition, and environmental consideration.
Origin: Made in Australia from 100% Australian ingredients.
